I want to start talking about Design by giving Honour to the Late Italian Designer Carlo Mollino, he was an exuberant and eccentric man. He was an architect which raced cars, piloted aeroplane's, and took secret nude photographers which at that time where shocking and now they are seen as Art. All his designs are inspired from the erotic female form and he served as an inspiration while i was studying for a unit about the human body in design. He was one on the inspirations i had for a design i did 2 years ago, in which i created a shelving with the form of a women. What fascinates me about this man is that he used the female form and described it perfectly with the materials he used for his designs, and that is something as a designer we have to do quite naturally.Below are some pictures of Carlo Mollino designs i love this yellow Armchair is has such organic forms and it looks really comfortable.
